Tony’s Monologue: We waited this late so that we could only make one call, but we still might do two today. Contractors were paid yesterday at a rate of 3.91. Tony had three different contractors get paid at the same rate. Contractors in Iraq were paid 3.91. This morning from Iraq they are saying that the lower denoms are out. The 10,000 note is now ten dinars and they are telling the citizens that this is what it is worth. The banks received memos yesterday even down to the branch level. They were told that they would be getting new currencies they would be able to exchange and that they should expect us this weekend. That they will start exchanging soon and should be done by the 31st for internet people. They won’t work on Christmas day though. They are saying that this is for tax purposes for the banks. The 7-dollar rate is still being given out. Tony thinks it is going to go because a lot of people are concerned about the government shutting down at midnight. From the government people that have talked with Tony, they feel that Trump is delaying funding of the government until he takes office on the 20th of January. Because of this they are trying to push it through today. All the approvals were redone this morning. That they will go into effect at 3 eastern but it will take a little time before they can start processing. They had celebration parties at the UN and are going back home in the morning. Tony knows it is going because he got a call from the bank at 6 this morning and was told to be ready. We know they got their memo yesterday so it could really go. All currencies are a go. We can go at any time tonight or tomorrow morning.

Q & A:

-       Is there a minimum amount we need to have to call the 800 number or can we call if we only have a 25,000 dinar note? Tony doesn’t know.

-          Does Iraq have any say so in the release of this? It has been released in Iraq to the contractors and just not to the citizens like us.

-          Is the authorization code for Wells Fargo only? Yes, it is for Wells Fargo only.

-          What does the RLUSD have anything to do with the rv? Tony doesn’t know why there is a connection there. They have said that it is supposed to be the security/backing for this digital coin/currency.

-            We can get started at the time the banks receive the authorization? The memo the banks got was from the upper echelon saying that new currencies have been authorized to be traded and expect people to be coming in starting this weekend. We don’t know if they have received the authorization memo to start this or maybe they did since they have sent out their internal memo. There have apparently been some changes, possibly procedural, that hopefully Tony will be updated on when he gets the 800 numbers.
