Tony’s Monologue: According to Tony, the information they had made Friday’s call sound like it would be our last and we should not be having this type of call today. The rate at the Wells Fargo in Vegas was for the selling of dinar at 2.98. Chase Bank was selling the dinar at 3.01. Had another bank saying they can sell it, but the rate is significantly different and can’t sell it until Monday. It’s not for sale today. Tony has memos with rates and dates, and they are saying it will be done by the end of the month. Tony had a specific and absolute time for when it was going to happen. Because of that it didn’t happen. This was from the banks and three letter agencies. They were all saying the exact same time, but it made no sense for that many people to know exactly when it was going to happen. Then Tony got a two-hour window on Saturday. Then it was supposed to happen within two hours of FOREX opening on Sunday. That didn’t happen and then it was supposed to go between midnight and 4 am. Banks are putting out the rates on their screen. Wells Fargo in Charlotte has a 3.05 rate. They are still having meetings even though they say it is done. They are still educating people and saying it is not an issue on our side. It might be an issue with things going on in Iraq. They caught banks in Iraq doing things that they were not supposed to be doing. Sudani found out that they had three different budgets and doesn’t know how that happened. There is a digital budget recorded in the gazette. Iraq did get accepted into the WTO from the WTO side. They have 30 days to accept the invitation. This is why we didn’t get notified of this because they have not accepted it yet. In Tony’s opinion they are getting all their ducks in a row so everything can happen at one time. Not a lot to go on guys, we just need to see what happens after 5pm today.

Q & A:

-          There has been no education going on in Vietnam, this doesn’t make any sense? This is not a drastic change for them, they will just be able to buy more with the VND. They are not getting a 2-dollar or 4-dollar rate in-country.

-        Is the presidential election turmoil affecting the rv? There has not been a change with our president, Trump has not changed as a candidate, and the rv really doesn’t care who is sitting in the office. 

-      When do you think we will see the rv? Tony is talking with banking personnel, people in the UST, and people in three letter agencies (law enforcement, IMF, Fed Res). Tony is just passing on what they tell him about when this will happen. 

-      Can I set my appointment for after the first ten days and still get the higher rates? The higher rates are available until they run out. No one knows how long the rates will last. 

-        Will we have to prove where we got the currency? Tony has not had anyone go in and be asked for receipts or pay any taxes.

-         Chase is selling Dinar at 3.01 on Saturday but can’t find out today unless contact physically walks into the bank. 

Wrap Up: We have to wait and see today. Maybe after 5 pm. We are not in a bad spot. The train or the roller coaster has stopped, and we are waiting for them to open the door so we can get off. Even with a bank selling dinar this morning, it just shows us how close we are. Be prepared.
