Tony’s Monologue: Iraq is saying they don’t want to fight, to be dragged into it, and they don’t want a war. Iran doesn’t want a war. The US doesn’t want a war. The fact that no one wants to fight is why one keeps fighting. Sudani said what is going on in Lebanon will not affect Iraq or its economy, but it does affect the psyche, and that people are signing up to join the Lebanese military. Iraq’s three days of mourning is up today. The good news is that on Friday Tony was told that it would happen on Monday or Tuesday. This would satisfy what Iraq wanted and the UN wanted. When Tony said he knew something we didn’t know, it is that people in country (Kurdistan) are being told they will have a new rate tomorrow. So, we will wait and see. They got their salaries, money in their pocket, and supposedly will have a new rate tomorrow. The banks are currently in meetings. They were told this morning to get their people ready. They brought the feds in last night. Why, we don’t know. Everyone is still waiting on the go. It is done. All the three letter agencies said their portion is done. The banks are expecting us tomorrow morning. Tony has a time break down of when it should or could happen. We will have to wait and see. Tony is waiting for them to get out of the meetings and see what kind of updates he will get. See if the rates are back on the screen. Tony just got yes, it’s back and we probably would not have been told to get ready. Will Lebanon and Israel stop what we have been waiting on? No, it is going forward full force. We should be in the banks in the morning. They were just told that yesterday in Iraq. Just one portion was told that. As we know, Kurdistan is always ahead of Baghdad. They have been waiting for 2 months to pay them, but they were paid yesterday. This isn’t even front-page news, and articles have not come out yet. Tomorrow will tell the tale. Q & A:

-            Will 2 dollars be the top rate for VND, or will there be something higher? You will probably have to negotiate your way up to the 2 dollars. 

-            Any update on the 800 numbers? Tony knows that he should receive a heads up an hour or so before it comes out. He should then get the 800 numbers and a call to go over everything. We will get a text and email for the call to get that number. 

-            What will change everything so that it will actually go and we will not be sitting here waiting while they say it is going to happen? Tony is not privy to everything, and he is not in control of everything. They are having meetings right now discussing what they are going to do. They and Iraq have both been told that it will happen by tomorrow morning. 

-            Were they paid at the old rate or new rate? They were paid and were told they could spend their salary at the new rate Tuesday morning. 

-            Do you need FDIC coverage on the private banking side? No, the money is not on the books and does not need the coverage. 

-            Do you know what is showing on the screen and for how long? Tony doesn’t know but hopefully will be updated about it later today. Should we be looking for this at 2 am? Tony is looking for this between midnight and 4 am. The Iraqis were told to look for it on Tuesday and it could be at any time. 

-            Have the rates stabilized? Tony’s understanding is that it wasn’t an issue on Friday. 

Wrap Up: Tony expects this to be our last TNT Call. He expects us to have a rv call tomorrow. It’s the end of September/first of October and the start of a new fiscal year. It is perfect. With them being told we will have a new rate tomorrow Tony hopes they don’t disappoint them and us. Be ready.
