Tony’s Monologue: The information is very good, but Tony is not excited. They are saying it was supposed to go live last night or today. It could also be this weekend, with Sunday making a lot of sense. Every single agency is saying it will happen today and that we are waiting for the 800 numbers. For the last 15 years Tony has been telling us that he will give us the information, but he doesn’t agree with it. The information he got this morning is that it is going down today. He has also received that it is going down right now. Tony did talk with Iraq today and the lower denoms are out in another province. They are being shown on TV to the citizens. There is a question on how they are going to get the lower denoms out to everyone. This is why they also had the big push for everyone to have a debit card. The lower denoms are out in the northern part of Iraq but not yet in the southern part. Who knows, they might take a couple more days to allow the lower denoms to spread out a little further. It would also make sense for them to wait for Sunday because it would be the first of September. Alaq is still in DC with the negotiations. Sudani is in Egypt on a one-day trip. Tony doesn’t see it happening today, but who knows they may shock the world. Tony thinks the first is a great day to do it. 

Q & A:

-            How long do you think it will take for Iraq to get the lower denoms in all of their provinces? Tony doesn’t know and it is very possible that Kurdistan jumped the gun. 

-            How long do we have to turn in the 25K notes? 10 years does not make any sense. 2 years is what has been said. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to let it drag out past 90 days according to Tony. To get the higher rates you need to get in within 30 days. 

-            Is the cessation of the peace talk going to affect the rv? They are supposed to resume the peace talks today. With them saying it will go today, it probably won’t affect it. Iran is talking about resuming talks with the US to get sanctions removed. 

-            They are saying the lower denoms are actually in trade. This doesn’t make a lot of sense with a 1300 to 1 rate.

-            Can we write into the contract that we can pull from the money under contract to pay taxes? Tony doesn’t think the taxes will happen. You could arrange to pay taxes out of the interest being earned. 

-            Is everything done at the UN? As of yesterday, they said everything is done. Will we have to wait for all the provinces to have the lower denom before we will go? No indication that this would be the case. Where did your text come from today? They were coming from the agencies. The banks were put under NDA’s last weekend and have been told that it will happen. 

Wrap Up: Tony gave us everything they have. They think it is today. One agency did say today through the weekend. Sunday makes more sense to Tony. Everyone else is excited about something today and should be getting the 800 numbers. We will have another call today if it happens.
